Dana Wagner

F.L.I.T.E.: 2005

When my Mom convinced me to come into Eagle Nest, Inc., I came with the baggage of a horrible divorce, a recent back surgery, performed miles from my home, and a cross country move with two small children.  I was proud and thought I could make it on my own; I did not want or need anyone’s help (I thought).

TODAY: 2015

I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership from Friends University.  I am currently employed by St.   Francis Community Services in Wichita as an Administrative Assistant.  I work predominantly with Foster Care.  “What does not break you makes you stronger.”   ENI has empowered me to identify and embrace my strengths, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I had just moved to Winfield from  Orlando, Florida, and I did not know anyone.  I came across Eagle Nest, first as the store.  I went in and the atmosphere was just incredible.  You could feel the love from the women there.  I had found a home.

I now live in Denver, Colorado.  I am in school to become an Occupational Therapy Aide and will graduate in 2017.  I am in a stable relationship with a person who supports me in every way and I could not be happier in my life.  I will never forget how everyone at Eagle Nest, Inc. helped me to become the person I am today.  I can never thank them enough.

When I came to Eagle Nest, Inc. I was in the midst of despair with a life quickly spinning out of control.  I have suffered anxiety and depression my whole life and when I walked through these doors I was ready to end it all.

I earned my  Associates of Arts in Psychology at Cowley County College in May of 2013 and in December of 2015 I will graduate Cum Laude from Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Religion and Philosophy Minor.  I currently work at Eagle Nest, Inc. as Class Coordinator.  I will forever be grateful for the love and acceptance that I received from ENI.  I have    become successful in life and I am striving toward my full potential.

F.L.I.T.E. 2011

My life was in shambles when I moved to Kansas in 2011 to be closer to my sister.  My self-esteem was at rock bottom and I was struggling to be stronger in my faith.  Then my roommate brought me into Eagle Nest, Inc.

After working at Eagle Nest, Inc. on a grant I started working in Security at Creekstone Farms.  Applying everything I had learned at Eagle Nest, things began to come together.  I sought therapy, gained confidence, and restored my self-esteem.  I do not work a job, I do something I love and consider a career.  I own a car, pay my own bills, and have improved relationships with my grown        children.  Thank you Eagle Nest, Inc. for being such wonderful friends, confidants and family.  Their guidance has changed my life forever.

Christine Casebolt:

F.L.I.T.E. 2011

Before I came to FLITE classes at  Eagle Nest, Inc., I felt like a failure.  I had not only let myself down but everyone around me.  I dressed in sweats and t-shirts most of the time.  I had no self-respect, my ego was low, and my self-esteem was non-existent.

TODAY:

I am a supervisor at the mailroom at the Winfield Daily Courier.  I am a member of First Church of the     Nazarene, I walk with my head held high.  My self-respects and self-esteem are abundant.  Eagle Nest, Inc. and the ladies there have given me a new lease on life.  Even now four years after I finished F.L.I.T.E. they are still hear to listen, advise, encourage or just give a hug when needed.
